• Delivery Procedures
All patient photographs, negatives, and slides are normally delivered to the referring doctor, unless otherwise specified by the patient. There is a delay in the delivery of photo negatives as a precaution against the loss or misdelivery of photo prints.
All deliveries within Manhattan are made by private courier service. First class mail is used for locations outside of Manhattan.
• Photography Series
For every surgical procedure there is a standard series of photographs. If you would prefer to have different views, or you would like to increase or decrease the number of views you receive, please let us know. We can customize any series to your requirements. 5" X 7" black and white prints are standard. Larger or smaller prints, color prints, and slides are also available, either in addition to or instead of the standard set of prints.
• Studio Procedures
Don Allen Studios has both male and female photographers on staff. If your patients have a preference, they should let us know at the time they call for an appointment.
Our policy is to photograph all body cases without clothing, but disposable photographic panties are also available. Please let us know which you prefer, and we will photograph your patients accordingly.
• Additional Services

• Appointments
Patients are asked to make appointments as far in advance as possible
Patients should be told that they can expect to spend about thirty minutes at our studios.

• Fees
Fees are paid by the patient at the time of the photo session. Personal checks and cash are accepted, credit cards are not. Photos will not be delivered unless paid for. Standard patient photography fees include both pre- and post-operative photographs.
Patients have up to two years from their pre-operative sitting to return for their post-operative photographs. After two years an additional fee is incurred. If you do not want post-operative photographs, please let us know and your patient will be charged accordingly.
